The WHS Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a WHS Management System which complies to the principles and requirements under AS 4801 and the Performance Standards for Self-Insured Employers. The position spearheads a 'safety first and always' culture across the company by providing leadership, strategy direction and specialist advice, and working in close consultation and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance to WHS legislation, regulations and standards.
The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer Thomas Foods International Fresh Produce ('TFIFP').

Essential
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (and/or minimum experience below)
Experience
- Minimum five years' experience in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of WHS Management Systems and/or management of WHS at senior level
- Experience in a Self-Insured Employer work environment
Desirable
Qualifications
- Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS
- WHS Lead Auditor
Experience
- Experience in the horticultural or food processing industry
- Experience with WHS management in a multi-site environment
