Assistant Manager, Gift and Home Decor Store Job in Brisbane Australia

To become a member of our team employed in this position you will require the following attributes:
  • Offer excellent customer service building relationships and expanding our VIP program;
  • Honest, reliable,  and highly motivated even when unsupervised;
  • A positive role model who is driven to coach and inspire other team members;
  • Creative with colour/interior design, and have strong skills in stock and visual merchandising;
  • Flexibility to work weekends on occasion and extended trading hours according to business needs and peak trade periods.
Required experience:
  • 5 years recent retail experience as store manager/assistant manager;
  • Proven track record to achieve sales targets and company goals;
  • High level of computer, marketing and point of sale software experience;
  • Visual merchandising and in-store promotions;
  • Experience with interior design and colour would be an advantage;
  • Occupational Health & Safety Knowledge.
 Main Duties:
  • Co-management of a small team ensuring day to day duties are carried out efficiently;
  • Sales and helping the team reach sale targets and company goals;
  • Visual Merchandising;
  • Marketing and Social Media;
  • Oversee transition into new point of sales software.
