This role would be ideal for individuals who want a commercial role with a technical background.
One individual will start by coordinating the integration of a new CRM system. Data will need to be transferred and procedures will need to be written. This is estimated to take approximately 3 months and will provide the individual with thorough system knowledge as well as an understanding of how the 3 individual teams operate.
Over the following 9 months the individuals will gain further experience working with all of the 3 sales teams in turn. This will provide the candidate with more practical technical sales training & experience. We will also provide external sales training as well as technical hands on training with engineers on site.
Applicants should have full driving licences or be working towards driving. Initially successful candidates will be under the supervision of technical team members if the role requires travel.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
Researching and approaching potential new customers
Visiting potential customers to discuss new business.
Keeping up to date with full range of available products in the marketplace and their technical specifications
Applying technical knowledge of products to match customer requirements
Making accurate cost calculations
Providing customers with quotations
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications
Facilitating delivery, installation and commissioning
Ensuring customer satisfaction on completion of job
Gathering market and customer information to assist in producing marketing and social media literature
Throughout the above tasks individuals will be required to keep the CRM system up to date
