Accountant Job at Orascom Construction Egypt

Job description

  • Performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures.
  • Review all attendance sheets presented by the time keepers, and add comments if any.
  • Review all issues related to casual labors (vacations, wages, attendance, etc.) represented by the HR coordinator.
  • Generate daily status report with all cash Management going in and out.
  • Run day to day operational activities connected with site accounting issues.
  • Assist in all petty cash on the site, provide a clearly documented audit trail for all payments and expenses as per policy guidelines
  • Assist in wages payments and settling the cash custody.
  • Coordinate with the Treasury Department to ensure the client’s payments have been delivered.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members on site to mentor their work and develop their skills.
  • Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.

Education/ Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce
Professional Certification
CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
Work Experience
Minimum of 0-3 years’ of experience
Very Good command of English language
Computer Skills
Very Good knowledge General Ledger System
Microsoft office
