About the company

Randstad are working with a well known Developer cum Main Contractor with HQ in PJ (Kuala Lumpur) - our client have delivered MRT, Rail, Depots, Hospitals and Airport projects and are well known in the civil building works industry. They also have a fast growing Developer side which has an exciting pipeline of high rise projects, commercial and condominium. This job is on the Developer side working on a highrise project. 
  • Project: Developer for: 6 x High rise mixed development (In house design and build) - RM 520m

About the role

Working with the Technical Manager to execute value engineering and alternative designs. Liaise with consultants on discrepancies of drawings. Discuss with Technical Manager on any major discrepancies. 5 days per week from HQ.

Skills and experience
  • Conduct periodic site audit to check and ensure works are done according to drawings and specifications
  • Monitor and ensure the quality compliance of site and work progress as per clients’ or industry standard.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of civil and structural construction drawings
  • Assist Technical Manager in all assigned duties on an ad hoc basis
Requirements
  • Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering
  • At least 5 years experience in High rise projects
  • Candidate with bridge structural design experience in consultancy firms is an added advantage.
