The Group Risk and Governance Advisor is a new role within corporate Head Office operations. Reporting directly to the GM Risk and Governance the role forms part of a dynamic HR, WHSE and Risk Management department.
So what will you do in the role?
- Partnering with business stakeholders to identify and investigate risks in line with Pact's Risk Management Framework,
- Management of the Group Risk Register and Mitigation Plan,
- Development of policies, procedures and processes to mitigate risks
- Management of assurance auditing,
- Reporting requirements, including Board and Executive level reports.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary Qualification
- Problem solving mindset coupled with intellectual curiosity
- Robust analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in use of technology
- Focus on continuous improvement of methodology
- Proven ability to work across all levels of the business
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Operational background with genuine interest in risk OR
- Experience in actively managing risks in an operational, financial or projects context
- Experience working in a multi-national listed company
- A comprehensive understanding of risk management and corporate governance requirements
