Job Description:
The IT Security Program Manager is responsible for leading multiple large scale projects as part of the Corporate Information Security Transformation Portfolio. The Programs of focus within the Portfolio are Security Management, Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Security Architecture and Services, Data Protection, Incident, Vulnerability and Threat Management. The Program Manager will utilize technical knowledge and experience in order to effectively influence the execution of projects. They will work closely with the project team to plan, direct and coordinate projects from the contract proposal initiation to final operational stage. The Program Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the project management system is up to date and accurately portrays the status of projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Consults with, advises, and directs cross-functional teams to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives through entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all technical, financial and time elements are met or exceeded.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates multiple large scale projects in one or more of the following cross functional areas Security Management - Security Operations and Monitoring Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Security Architecture and Services, Data Security (Data Loss Prevention, Password Vaulting, Privileged Access Management), Incident, Vulnerability and Threat Management. Governance, Risk and Compliance Makes presentations and may represent the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) at committee meetings. Develops complex project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Creates, manages, and tracks project schedules, including tracking dependencies, deadlines, and other information that may impact delivery or quality of project. Communicates with and advises the management team of project status including inter-project dependencies, external project dependencies and realistic timelines for completion. Works with team members to understand problems, acts as liaison, problem solver, and facilitator, escalates problems as necessary. Effectively engages with teams across the firm to address inter-department dependencies and prioritization issues. Enforcing project standards. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Consults with business partners, management, vendors, and technicians to assess needs and system requirements.
