Role: Checkpoint Firewalls and VPN
Location: Moorestown, NJ
Duration: 12 Months
Maximum Pay Rate: $35/hr on C2C
 
Years of experience can be only 3-5 years
 
Checkpoint firewall & VPN- Checkpoint Firewalls and VPN (ISS)
Good understanding of Networking concepts TCP/IP
Good understanding of Firewall and VPN fundamentals. Basic understanding of Checkpoint or other leading firewalls
Knowledge on Firewalls and VPN architecture. Should be familiar with the Checkpoint.
Firewalls and VPN GUI in order to support 24 X 7 operations. Perform routine monitoring of the Security devices
Firewalls and VPN health. First level of troubleshooting/resolution of incidents by following documented procedure/s and using the KEDB.
Follow-up tracking of open incidents/changes for feedback/information.
Generating regular service and operational reports by following documented procedure.
More than 3 years of overall experience in information security is required
Candidate should have minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Checkpoint/Juniper firewall and/or Networking (Routing & Switching)
Candidate should have good knowledge in Linux/Unix with knowledge on RADIUS and TACACS
Troubleshooting connectivity issues from security perspective, health monitoring of security devices
Should have good knowledge on networking protocols such as EIGRP, IGRP, OSPF and/or BGP
Good working knowledge in MPLS, Site to Site VPN and SSL VPN
Should be willing to work in shifts
Should have good written and communication skills
Certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, CEH, CCSP, CISSP will be added advantage
 
Role:
Candidates who are getting selected will be a part of Security Operations Center who handles 24/7 operational activities on multiple security devices and tools
He/She will be responsible for Firewall operational activities which includes connectivity troubleshooting from security perspective and design changes
He/She will perform RADIUS and TACACS related troubleshooting
He/She is a part of alert monitoring and response team who identify and resolve issues related to device health to ensure 100% uptime
He/She will also be working on multiple security tools such as Arbor, Lancope, Sourcefire, Aruba and Fire Eye.
