jobs-n-jobs.com is currently looking for a Costing Engineer/ Electrical Engineer to join a leading Main Contractor in their Mechanical & Electrical divsion - 2017 will be their biggest year on record. They are currently looking after the Mechanical & Electrical installations on various High rise Residential and Commercial buildings.
about the role
You will act of the 'go to' expert on all M&E Contracts for Building and Developments projects. You will be responsible for the establishment of policies and procedures for the efficient performance of the Department. Identification of the labour needs for all projects, assign and monitor to ensure its effective utilisation; provide regular reports. Taking the lead in the execution and timely production of all projects except where specifically excluded, liaise with the Engineering Department.
skills & responsibilities
You will ideally come from a M&E Engineer/Quantity Surveying background with extensive experience in procurement, contract administration, management and M&E / HVAC projects / EPC. You will have around 2 years experience covering all aspects of pre and post contract administration and management. Formal qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying beneficial. Candidates from Specialist Sub contractors / Main Contractors or Consultancies considered.
culture & benefits
The salary is dependent on individual experience and abilities (RM4-5k). Along with a market leading basic salary, you will be given up to to 6 months bonus
