Graduate Field Representative Job in Coffs Harbour & North Coast Australia

This position would ideally suit a recent graduate in agricultural science with strong communication & interpersonal and relationship building skills. You will have access to specialists in blueberry production as well as participate in regular formal technical development programs on all berry production techniques including raspberry, strawberry and blackberries. 
As a Field Rep, you will use your agronomy skills and training to contribute to the continued success and growth of our independent growers. Your role will primarily consist of providing regular on-site support and advice on best-practice berry production techniques to help improve overall production yields as well as recommended quality controls and processes to ensure delicious and healthy berries, all year round!
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will also provide timely and up-to-date operational and production reports such as berry and flower counts as well as reporting on short and long term forecasts. 
Integral to the success of this role is your ability to partner with IG to adopt and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at ensuring both internal Quality and regulatory requirements are met, as well as external customer requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate the following capabilities or experience:
  • Completion of Undergraduate or Post Grad qualifications in Agricultural Science is required.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel for basic reporting and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills (previous exp in customer facing roles would be advantageous) 
  • Hold a valid driver's licence
  • Ability to travel
