This is a unique Registered Nurse opportunity within a fantastic aged care facility.
Duties include:
- Assisting with clinical care,
- Promoting quality standards, conducting assessments & developing care plans,
- competency in medication administration and documentation software systems
- An understanding of ACFI and quality systems.
- Facilitating continuous improvement,
- Educating & supervising junior care staff
- Assisting the management team with other necessary duties.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for a flexible registered nurse to join our highly qualified team
- Registered Nurse – with current AHPRA Registration
- 2+ Years clinical hands-on experience
- Knowledge and skills in Dementia specialised care – well regarded
- Demonstrated history of Management within an Aged Care setting
- Demonstrated leadership skills + experience
- Excellent people and clinical skills
- A positive outlook & passion for aged care
- Enthusiastic, Energetic and Adaptable in situations
- Extensive experience in care management plans and coordination of quality aged resident care
- Understanding of the ACFI and its application.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
Demonstrated ability to document concisely and effectively in resident notes and care plans. - Significant knowledge of the accreditation process
- Must have the right to work in Australia
