The Parts Clerk/Duty Driver will be based at one of four PAE sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for assisting the Vehicle Maintenance section with receiving, storing, and maintaining tools, supplies, and equipment. This position will also provide vehicle escort services on and off site and will report to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
Receive requests for parts and materials from Mechanics, and prepare and process requisitions for same.
Receive, store, and issue hand tools, replacement parts, shop supplies, equipment, and packaged POL products.
Keep records of specialty tools issued to and returned by workers.
Search for lost or misplaced tools.
Prepare periodic inventory or keep perpetual inventories and requisitions replacements, as needed.
Unpack and store new equipment.
Visually inspect tools or measure with micrometer for wear or defects and report damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors.
Coat tools with grease or other preservatives using a brush or spray gun.
Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool.
Provide vehicle escort services.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIRED:
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Two (2) years’ supply experience in an organization performing vehicle maintenance and repair.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
o Strong computer skills including working with databases, invoicing, and scheduling.
o Knowledge of office procedures, equipment, and ordering/purchasing.
o Ability to problem-solve and prioritize.
o Basic arithmetic skills.
o Ability to safely operate motor vehicles.
o Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.

Education: A high school diploma or GED.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid drivers’ license from Home of Record.
Security Vetting: Already possess a US Government issued security clearance or Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification or US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification or clearance level for the duration of the contract.
Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.
Citizenship: US Citizenship is not required.
Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by PAE and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
