Accountabilities
• Support the Senior Events Manager with any delegated tasks or assigned events to make sure all leads are actioned on timely
manner and professionally
• To proactively seek business opportunities to generate business and contribute to sales activities to deliver or exceed minimum
standards of performance.
• Manage designated events proactively with a structured project management approach.
• Respond to all clients’ queries in timely manner, producing detailed proposals for all types of events.
• Produce accurate events sheet and event orders to ensure that all operational departments or service
• Assist in managing third-party relationships and liaising with the assigned caterers/service providers to deliver F&B requirements
as per client needs and expectation.
• Manage the event on the event day and efficiently dealing with any queries or problems which arise.
• Overseeing the setup, dismantling, and removal of the events.
• Post-event evaluation and producing reports for event stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
• Professional qualification in related areas &/or 3 years’ experience in Event Management, Performing arts and Live Entertainment
Typical Experience
• Business Development & Sales: proactive with a proven track record with considerable sales experience from similar
conference/banqueting or events environment; demonstrable sales skills and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales
targets; contract negotiation and management skills; ability to understand the Company’s brand, become effective operationally in
a short time
• Project Management & Events: organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, and to manage several events
simultaneously while implementing best practices; track record of successful delivery to project/events objectives in a large or high
profile organisation; experience of preparing and managing budgets and project timelines; capacity to manage a busy workload
with high productivity; independent approach to take responsibility/ownership and make informed decisions under pressured
circumstances; to assimilate new information and excellent problem solving ability; manage information flow effectively across all
stages of the project and with different parties; produce Risk Assessments effectively; adapt to change and commitment to
developing new skills; knowledge of health and safety regulations as it applies to this field of work; qualification/formal training in
project management preferred; high level of accuracy and attention to details; creative and open for new ideas
• Client Relationships & People: interact and develop positive relationships to bond with clients and to generate business
opportunities; identify customer needs, manage expectations and anticipate; team player with integrity/credibility
• Administrative & Language: Excellent computer skills including event management system and Microsoft Office skills (Word,
Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with experience of managing database; strong communication skills, conflict resolution and
interpersonal skills; multi-lingual with fluent English, Arabic is plus. undertake research and multi-tasking oriented; draft letters,
documents, scripts and high quality presentations to brief
• Other: interest in the arts and an enthusiasm for working in a socially engaged and culturally diverse environment; experience of
working in a theatre and/or managing a public ticketed performance; work outside normal business hours including nights, early
mornings, weekends and public holiday; knowledge of the venue management system/software – Ungerboeck
