Position Title: Admin and Security Manager

Job Purpose:
- To manage the administration and personal functions of Plant, this may involve the development and implementation of
- Policies, procedures and systems concerning administration.
- The purpose/scope may also include maintaining good industrial relations for efficient and smooth functioning Plant and achievement of Company’s Objectives.
Principal Accountability:
In Side Plant
- To meet with Section in charges on daily basis to discuss new tasks and follow up of previous ones.
- To participate in inter department meeting as and when required and ensure provision of Admin support where essential.
- To ensure housekeeping of Plant on daily basis by visiting every corner of Plant.
- To ensure smooth functioning of Mess i.e Provision of GOOD quality food under hygienic conditions.
- To ensure smooth pick and drop of officers and workers from rest houses to Plant and back.
- Ensure maintenance and housekeeping of rest houses.
- To oversee handling of medical emergency cases caused due to accident or any other mishap.
- To maintain record of fixed assets inside and outside Plant.
- To keep the admin expenditures under check and control other than the fixed expenditures like fares and utility bills etc.
- To ensure timely payment of utility bills (Residential) and fares through Finance Executive.
- To maintain close liaison with Finance department for timely Payment Plant electricity bill, payment of land installments and contractor bills.
- To organize various visits by bankers, insurance companies and our valued customers.
- To control/avoid any law and order situation in Plant.
- Ensure arrangements to ward off any accident in Plant i.e Fire etc.
- To ensure good arrangements of meetings etc as and when held at FSD Plant.
- To arrange and provide hired transport for guests (Foreigners) when required.
- Mess purchases.
Out Side Plant
Maintain close relation with key government departments like:
- PESCO
- EOBI
- ESSI
- Labor department
- SDA
- Sui Gas
- To represent company in professional bodies like Peshawar chamber of commerce and industries.
- Any special task assigned by the Higher Management.
Security
To ensure complete Security Plant by day and night through available resources. However responsibilities in this regard are as following:
- To ensure safety of men and material.
- To regulated in ward and out ward movement of men, material, equipment and machinery as per company policies.
- To maintain daily record of any untoward incident/disciplinary cases.
- To ensure proper functioning of Security lights and cameras.
Job Dimensions:
- Ensuring the proper functioning of Administration deptt. inside and outside the plant to facilitate the smooth,economical and profitable operations; optimizing the availability of utilities in a trouble free working environment, maintaining the company reputation in all relevant areas.
Experience/Competencies Required:
- Specific education/certification, specific functional experience, language etc. Needed for the job. Please note that this is not necessarily the incumbent’s personal background.)
Knowledge/Skill:
- Basic relevant degree or extensive experience of running the Admin functions in reputable organizations.
- Knowledge of government/external departments and their functions related to industry.
Experience:
- 6- 8 years in relevant field
Competencies:
- Negotiations skills
- Handling of higher government functionaries.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in National, Official and local languages.
- Influential and convincing personality
- Effective implementation of company policies.
Interaction:
