The Head of Platform, Policy & Security will sit in MyRepublic Group and will be part of the IT & Security Team in Singapore supporting MyRepublic Group. Successful incumbent will be reporting to the Head of IT & Security. The role of the Head of Platform, Policy & Security will include but not limited to the following:
- Taking care of all IT platforms within MyRepublic Group (including Private Clouds across the region)
- Working within a security framework and enforcing policies
- Development & Creation of Security Strategies
- ITSec Governance and Reporting
- Security train your colleagues
- Be part of a blue team and defense mission critical infrastructure from external and internal attackers
- Get hands-on latest security tools and research and help analysing new attack techniques and breaches
- Be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with other team members to help develop automation strategies and a security foundation
- Become an integral part of the team, making every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving it accordingly
Job Specifications
- Minimum 3 - 4 years of working experience in a security environment
- Experience in taking part of a SOC environment OR
- Experience in penetration testing and evaluating of security solutions OR
- Experience in security consultancy and implementation of such solutions
- Security certificates, such as CEH, CISSP or OSCP are an advantage
- Knowledge about security frameworks is a must
- Knowledge about OpenStack or similar private cloud solutions is a must
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanner / web application scanner / pen-testing toolkits
- Familiarity with firewall, next-generation firewall solutions, IDS and IPS solutions
- Knowledge in security concepts in application, system, network and voice areas
- Familiarity with ISO standards, such as 27001, 27002 and 9001
- Familiarity with security frameworks (such as ISMS)
- Knowledge in design, implementation and enforcement of security policies
- Experience in virtualized Linux environments (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS) is an advantage
- Experience with public cloud platforms (such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Computing) is an advantage
- Experience with private cloud platforms (such as Red Hat OpenStack) is an advantage
- Experience with corporate IT networks and security strategies is an advantage
- Experience with secure in-house developments is an added advantage
- Effective team player who likes to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Committed and able to cope with tight deadlines
