Manager Direct Agency Solutions Job in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates

As Manager Direct Agency Solutions you will be responsible for conceptualizing, evaluating and delivering innovative solutions to drive Etihad’s commercial objectives with an aim to maximize distribution reach with optimized costs. Championing new technological capabilities of distribution to address sophisticated selling dynamics and methodologies in line with industry trends. Displaying entrepreneurial aptitude to deliver results and realize value through transformational projects in the constantly evolving field of airline distribution.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and improve processes, policies, procedures and operating manuals to ensure alignment with internal and external regulations and standards
  • Define and implement KPIs and SLAs to ensure consistency with business improvement framework and best practices
  • Monitor SLAs to ensure internal and third parties activities / services are executed in line with agreed timelines and standards
  • Monitor and track compliance to policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and agreed standards
  • Track and review performance indicators to identify and suggest actions to improve operational efficiency
  • Identify, plan and drive business excellence initiatives to support the continuous improvement of performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and implement initiatives to contribute to performance improvement
  • Drive operations and process assessment initiatives to timely and accurately identify potential areas of improvement
  • Identify gaps in performance / operational processes and suggest initiatives to improve efficiency and results
  • Participate to internal / external customers improvement initiatives to suggest recommendations and provide benchmarks
  • Participate to the definition of best practices and benchmarks to contribute to the improvement of operational performance and efficiency maximization
  • Provide subject matter expertise to suggest improvements on business solutions and technical systems
  • Review reports and assessments results to properly address potential risks / issues and improve operations
  • Monitor application of policies and procedures to ensure consistent and continuous improvement in the quality of service
  • Manage financial and operations efficiency initiatives to support business operations optimization
  • Manage synergy and integration projects to improve collaboration with partners and ensure partnership benefits maximization
  • Manage and lead business excellence initiatives and teams to ensure they act according to operational improvement standards
  • Guide, coach and provide internal / external feedback to the team to ensure high standards of performance and quality are achieved
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategy - Implement the Function/Department strategy to ensure alignment with Company strategy
  • Policies and procedures - Implement relevant policies, processes and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
  • Day-to-Day Operations - Manage the day-to-day operations by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
  • People Development - Manage the effective achievement of objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff in order to maximize performance
  • Safety, Quality & Environment - Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum Diploma (2 years or more).
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience within relevant field.
  • Airline pricing, inventory and revenue management knowledge.
  • Must have airline reservations and ticketing training.
  • Must have knowledge of global distribution systems.
  • Must have Deep knowledge of airline distribution technologies - online and offline solutions.
  • Must have travel agency and corporate sales management.
  • Must have broad knowledge of IATA industry initiatives.
