Your key responsibilities will be:
- Recruit employers by selling the concept of structured workplace learning and the benefits to both employers and students of participation in this initiative
- Ensure workplaces are safe for students and experiences in the workplace meet the requirements of the course framework outcomes
- Ensure a robust data base of employers is available to provide quality workplaces to fulfil our contract obligations
- Visit existing employers to maintain relationships and assist with any questions they have
- Maintain a database of employer visits, actions and accumulated feedback
- Evaluate, analyse and report recruitment achievements
- Visit schools to meet/develop relationships with VET teachers and discuss any feedback
- Attend network meetings
- Marketing of the program including brochures, creating workplacement stories and taking photographs for publication in various media
- Actively contribute to team environment
- Maintain quality standards of customer service
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience in sales and customer service roles
- High level written & verbal communication skills
- Clear confident telephone manner and strong sales and customer service skills
- Competency and accuracy in computer skills – word-processor, database and spreadsheet
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and to demonstrate initiative
- Awareness of need for confidentiality
- Own vehicle and drivers license
- Own mobile telephone
- Professional presentation
- Mature, reliable work ethic
