This position is for a Middleware Administrator responsible for the support and maintenance of enterprise Middleware environments running on AIX and LINUX. The middleware stack includes WebSphere, JBOSS ESB FUSE, JBOSS, WebLogic, and Websphere MQ.  This includes the design and implementation of High Availability solutions including backup and recovery, leading performance tuning activities to maintain high service levels and system performance, capacity planning and management reporting about the health of the application environments.

Knowledge of Oracle Retail Merchandising System (ORMS), Oracle Retail Integration Bus (ORIB) and ORMS batches is preferred. Knowledge of JBOSS Service works is nice to have.
Work closely with all functional groups to assure a smooth implementation and to insure compliance with all corporate adopted system standards and directions. Provide technical support to application development teams in the development of projects running on the application server. Responsible for ensuring application environments meet security best practices including SOX compliance, credit card and privacy standards. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as an effective team member.

Production support of multiple middleware instances to include tuning and troubleshooting
• Install, upgrade, and configure JBOSS EAP, JBOSS ESB FUSE and JBOSS Service Works and other middleware components including IBM Websphere and MQ.  Looking for strong JBOSS ESB, ESB FUSE skills.
• Should have experience with deploying J2EE Applications on JBOSS and WebSphere
• Experience in writing automation scripts in WLST, Ant, Jython or Python and knowledge of Shell scripts
• Perform and document technical administration and troubleshooting of middleware components including custom J2EE applications
• Support the Install and configuration of JBOSS EAP, JBOSS ESB FUSE and JBOSS Service works
• Experience working with Jahia/Tomcat, OAS and Weblogic preferred
• Proven track record with middleware performance analysis and capacity planning
• Responsible for providing day-to-day support and maintenance for key middleware environments
• Work in conjunction with other IT, application development, and business groups to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements from the middleware perspective
• Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through the effective delivery of technical support and service

Retail domain knowledge, Project lead/management experience is plus
