Front End Developer - Angular Job in Sydney Australia

We have an excellent contract opportunity not to be missed for an Senior Front End Developer (MEAN Stack) with particular experience and strength in Angular.js 2.0 and Node.js based in Sydney CBD. Contract will run until the end of the year with the likelihood of extension

Responsibilities
  • Development of software using front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS and HTML
  • Excellent development practices to support high quality frequent software releases
  • Implement front-end code using known frameworks and investigate new frameworks to apply to new products
  • Promote good front-end techniques to other peers in the development team
  • Provide excellent communication between all teams and areas in the organisation
Requirements
  • Min 5+ years of front end development experience
  • MEAN stack, specifically Angular.js 2.0 and above and Node.js
  • Proven experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
  • Proven experience with AngularJS and JavaScript
  • Excellent  communication skills both written and oral
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, and other web services used within system environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD and tools
  • Virtual environments and containers, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Kafka experience would be hugely beneficial
