Technical Manager (Food) Job in Peterhead, Scotland

The Role
Working within a fast paced environment, the Technical Manager will be;
  • Acting as the Technical expert within the site management team
  • Holding responsibility for maintaining food safety standards across the site
  • Development and management of the site quality and hygiene teams
  • Leading site audits (customer, BRC & governmental)
  • Development of the Food Safety Management Plan in line with plans across HACCP and BRC
  • Acting as key Technical contact for Suppliers, Customers and Food Safety Authorities
The Person
You will be an experienced Technical Manager from a food manufacturing environment.
With relevant training in a relevant subject you will be able to demonstrate;
  • A proven background of Technical Management within a food manufacturing environment preferably fish or seafood
  • Experience with supply to both retail and manufacturing customers
  • A proven track record of successful audit results and the maintenance of high food safety standards

  • Well established business with a turnover of circa £20m
  • Recent major investment in the site to cope with growth
The Package
  • A salary of between £40,000 & £50,000
  • Benefits to include potential relocation package
