International Assignment Consultant Job in Paris Area, France

The International Assignment Consultant will be responsible for navigating the international assignment process including; administration of client’s global mobility policy/program; delivering expatriate compensated-related services, counselling on best utilization of resources (i.e. language and cross-cultural); coordinating the shipment of household goods, destination services, expense management.
 
Key Responsibilities;
  • Provide single point of co-ordination for all phases of international relocation activities, administering and policing client policy.
  • Provide impeccable customer service to assignee and their family throughout the relocation.
  • Coordinates the delivery of services and manages vendors as dictated by client policy
  • Counsels employees to the best utilization of program benefits
  • Demonstrates sound knowledge of products and relocation services
  • Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Be responsible for the co-ordination of destination services, i.e., language, and cross-cultural training.
  • To counsel the employee on their International compensation benefits, as dictated by client policy. Potential to include compensation, tax benefits and other global mobility services
  • Interpret customer needs while balancing client policy; proactively maintain communication with assignee and client throughout assignment life cycle
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the client’s products and relocation services in all interactions with client and customer
  • Maintain and manage relationships with internal departments and external suppliers/partners in regards to reaching the clients expectations.
  • Recognise, ensure and promote data integrity
  • Assist with the development and training of new internal personnel

Essential experience;
  • Related business experience in the customer service or relocation sector
  • Demonstrated analytical and process skills are a minimum requirement
  • Computer Literacy MS Office, Excel to an intermediate level

The ideal candidate will;
  • Bilingual and/or personal relocation experience
  • Have experience working in international assignments/global mobility
  • An in depth understanding of international assignment services
  • Degree or equivalent required
  • Have international compensation and expatriate tax experience
