You will be a strategic, self-starting professional with both BTL & ATL marketing experience within the technology sector.
The role is based out of our Epson offices in Nairobi, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the local sales managers in the development and implementation of the local strategic and channel marketing plans for Consumer, Business and Vertical markets across the East and West African regions, ensuring alignment within the MEA business strategy. Work closely with sales staff and attend sales meetings, to ensure effective channel plans are created and achieved
- Develop local channel marketing materials using centrally created assets and work with approved local marketing communication agencies, ensuring that all materials are on message, on brand, on time and on budget
- Support the local implementation of the Channel Partner Programme via marketing communication, and visiting channel partners with local sales people to “sell through” marketing activities
- Check translations of centrally produced marketing communications materials including: promotions, advertising, brochures, POS and PR. Communicate central plans and materials throughout the local organisation
- Provide local requirements (localisation & print quality) for all central marketing collaterals as well as feeding back on whether centrally planned material are appropriate for the East and West Africa regions
- Feedback on whether centrally planned materials are appropriate for the local market and communicate media plans throughout the local organisation
- Work with PR and Social Media agencies to develop strategies, campaigns and initiatives to improve the public perception of Epson in line with business objectives (if relevant)
- Co-ordinate locally agreed central sponsored activities
- In conjunction with Marketing Services Manager, CIMSEA Business teams and local Sales team, create and implement event (channel and end users) plans for East Africa and West Africa regions which may include: Roadshows, exhibitions, corporate hospitality, internal staff events and channel events
- Create and execute channel marketing emails for local promotions/ channel incentive, competitions & products launch
- Manage promoters/Merchandisers across East Africa region and West Africa regions, set promoters sales targets, identify incentives and analyse sales results
- Plan, manage and accurately forecast strategic and channel marketing budgets
- Monitor local CMF and strategic budges t to ensure value for money and ROI
- Provide reports on local strategic & channel marketing activities and expenditure to Marketing Services Manager
