Digital Product Manager Job in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

What you’ll be doing

Ensuring the product roadmap achieves the maximum value for our business, clients, and customers, through:
Managing the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
End-to-end project leadership and management, coordinating necessary resources across multiple teams
Partnering with the Technology team and setting the prioritisation of key initiatives
Assessing the market and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance processes, product design, service proposition and profitability
Understanding customer needs from analytics, customer insight, market research and competitor review
Defining and executing the product strategy, determining requirements for each product release
Driving implementation of prioritised initiatives
Communicating product or process changes, providing training as required
Liaising with Marketing to develop the overall marketing strategy for the product
Reviewing and analysing products to ensure strategy is being delivered against objectives
Analysing 3rd party solutions and offers
Determining the ability to partner where relevant or build when necessary

What you’ll bring 


Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree in relevant field, with high academic achievement  
Agile experience is desirable

Knowledge, skills, experience 

4+ years product management experience from development through to launch
Solid background as an online product manager with proven ability to achieve revenue targets and meet deadlines
Demonstrated success defining, managing and launching excellent products
Ability to manage project timelines to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time and within budget
Ability to identify market trends and customer needs, conceptualise new product opportunities and build innovative solutions
Excellent organisational, communication (verbal and written), influencing, marketing, planning and interpersonal skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Must be a motivated self-starter and enthusiastic
Ability to write clear, market-driven product requirements  
Can think outside the box and recommend solutions
Analysis and decision making – can identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions
Superior negotiation skills combined with strong customer service ethic
Strong leadership ability, i.e. self-assured nature to challenge convention
