Payments Technical Analyst Job in San Francisco, CA United States

Responsibilities 


* Provide technical analysis for various Payments initiatives within the bank, including Wires, ACH, FX. 

* Conduct gap analysis between current and future Payments solutions and assist with re-engineering of the operational payments processes. 

* Technical Analysis of Payments Hub implementation, including orchestration of various payments processes using Straight Through Processing solutions. 

* Be a technical SME for Payments and provide guidance to the Operations teams within the bank. 

* Participate and collaborate with external vendors and internal teams during functional and technical design phases to build technical artifacts. 

* Participate in the build of Payments applications and connectivity with vendors and technical teams within the bank. 

* Create technical requirements documents, functional specification documents, and use case documents. 

* Create non-functional technical requirements documents. 

* Oversee the design and build of test cases for UAT and ensure that there is adequate coverage of technical and non-functional test cases. 

* Provide technical support to ensure successful day to day run of the Payments applications in production. 

* Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure successful implementation and testing of the changes arising out of the Payments systems releases. 

* Partner and collaborate with various internal groups to support build, maintain and support of various integration points between the payments application and other applications within the bank. 


Qualifications 


* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. 

* 7-10 years of IT experience with minimum of 5 years in Financial/Banking industry. 

* Expert knowledge of Payments solutions. 

* Prior Experience with Payments Hub solutions. 

* Prior Experience in build and implementation of Payments systems. 

* Strong knowledge of Payments networks. 

Mental/Physical Requirements: 


* The ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly. 

* Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals and computer screens. 

* Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person. 

* Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions. 

* Position involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. 

* Must be able to travel in a limited capacity.
