Software Test Team Leader / Manager Job in London United Kingdom

A highly successful financial services organisation, who are a market leader in their space, have a fantastic opportunity for a Test Team Leader / Manager to join them as they continue to embark on their journey of growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Managing and developing direct reports (3 dedicated test resources)
  • Co-ordinating the required business resource for test execution
  • Mitigating risk through adequate testing
  • Being the primary point of contact for the Test team in all manner of test activities
  • Developing and maintaining all appropriate test artefacts
  • Maintaining industry knowledge of evolving test methods and update our processes/strategy where applicable
  • Managing automation testing (TestComplete)
  • Progress reporting to stakeholders
  • Developing mechanisms to promote effective and efficient issue resolution and reporting of testing issues
  • Liaising with software developers and other members of Application Support to ensure software issues are properly tested and resolved

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assisting their live support team and wider application support units
  • Interpreting specifications to produce test scripts and associated documentation for effective test execution, particularly end to end
