Corporate Investment Banking Associate – DCM/ECM/SF Job in Jeddah Saudi Arabia

Job Description

  • To handle the thorough evaluation of client needs and due diligence process, proposing the most suitable ECM/DCM solutions to meet client requirements,  and proceed to the accurate execution and preparation of all the required activities and documentation for the completion of the relevant transactions.
  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
  • Participates in the creation of initiatives to expand the activities and services of ECM to the Saudi market, while handles the distribution and marketing of ECM products to the investors. 
  • Meets with potential clients in order to understand their needs and develop proposals for cooperation in accordance to their requirements and business plans.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of marketing activities for the CIB, e.g. development of brochures, participation in business conferences, in order to present the services of CIB to clients.
  • Analyse requests and RFPs received from clients and proceeds to the preparation of pitch books in order to effectively present the services of CIB and how ECM/DCM is responding. 
  • Conducts meetings with clients in order to thorough understand their business strategy and performance issues and acquires all the required information to structure the adequate solution for transaction. 
  • Proceed to the execution of the due diligence process, taking into consideration local and international market trends and using the required techniques and tools, including financial models, in order to evaluate opportunities and risks. 
  • Develops accurate and tailor-made advice and solutions to clients for raising capital according to their needs and financial capabilities.
  • Combines all the available information to analytical reports that include the presentation of risks, opportunities and financial indicators, in order to assist clients to attract potential investors and enable investors to make valid investment decisions.
  • Coordinates and handles the preparation of business plans, prospectus, transactions’ memorandum etc., for distribution to the potential investors.
  • Controls the accurate preparation and submission of all the required documentation from any regulatory authorities and the Bank, for the initiation and completion of the transactions.
  • Handles the selection of third party advisors to participate in the CM transactions while reviews and manages the accuracy and quality of their deliverables.  
  • Provides all the required support for the presentation of transactions to potential investors of the technical aspects of the financial analysis and documentation.
  • Reviews CMA / Shariah regulations and liaise with the Islamic Banking / Shariah Committee on any matter related to Sukuk, and provides all the required clarifications for the compliance of all activities with the relevant regulations.
  • Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Co. to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics
  • Postgraduate degree at any relevant to finance discipline is preferable 
  • CFA qualification is highly regarded 
  • CME-1
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis/investment banking.
  • Co. reserve the right to accept less qualifications and requirements.   
  • English and Arabic: Advanced
  • Excellent knowledge in accounting, financial analysis, risk analysis risk analysis and mitigation, financial modelling and cash flow analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of Islamic Finance (for DCM)
  • Hands-on experience in developing and managing ECM/DCM services processes and requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of the current legislation and CMA regulations
