Channel Marketing Specialist Job in Dubai United Arab Emirates

Applications are invited for the position of Channel Marketing Specialist.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Develop channel marketing plans each year, aligning budget and stakeholder requirements, for each defined channel to support the sale and increase market share of our products in the UAE markets.
  • Execute and monitor channel-specific campaigns including determining the media platform and adapting campaigns to suit target population to achieve increased revenue and market share.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and gain insights by monitoring competitor activity and the latest digital trends to ensure that marketing campaigns are relevant and leading edge.
  • Gather data on the results and create reports at the end of each campaign to show what worked and what was less effective for different products, markets and target customers.
  • Plan and execute the day-to-day marketing and campaign activities to ensure that anticipated deliverable and timelines are met.
  • Support with brand and category development for improved sales, distribution, profitability, and brand share for Emirates Flight Catering and for customers in the channel
  • Working with various external partners and agencies so as to develop marketing collateral in order to provide product information and leverage our brand presence to key stakeholders such as distributors, retailers, chefs, foodservice professionals and event planners.
  • Coordinate trade events including budget, event logistics, and agenda to ensure that brand presence is maximised and strategic partnerships are forged.
  • Implement merchandising strategies, including the management of shelf space and customer performance tracking with retailers to ensure our revenue and volume targets are achieved.
  • Coordinate with the agency to design and develop packaging for branded and white label products, capturing our brand image and meeting retail specifications.
  • Utilise consumer data and insights to provide recommendations and adapt market plans to drive category distribution and gain increased sales.
  • Develop and execute online marketing plans, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO)/Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns and re-targeting, reporting on performance and adapting the approach to ensure targets are achieved.
  • In partnership with Senior Marketing Manager, suggest expenditure across all customer communications channels to meet agreed outcomes cost effectively and efficiently.
Essential Requirements & Competencies 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years marketing experience in a channel / trade / product environment with insight knowledge of developing marketing campaigns in the UAE and GCC regions.
  • Career achievements in gaining market share within the channel markets of food and beverage, consumer packaged or FMCG.
  • Ability to analyse data, observe trends, report and evaluate the success of campaigns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Verbal & written communication in all aspects of work in both English and Arabic, is essential
  • Attention to detail, ability to plan, multitask and work to strict time constraints
  • Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Power Point and MS Word
  • Experience with is an advantage
