Head of User Experience Job at Serco Dubai United Arab Emirates

This role is responsible for leading the ExperienceLab functionality within Serco ME, including developing the strategy, aligned to the SME strategy, solution development, supporting business development and marketing and branding and deployment of resources (people, technical, financial and physical) to deliver contracts and projects. The role is responsible for leading the internal team against project deliverables and building/ owning a pipeline of new consultancy opportunities


Key accountabilities

  • Build and own a pipeline of new consultancy opportunities.
  • Manage and plan key accounts
  • Support wider new business with the injection of solutions to support citizen centric design
  • Develop and manage the ExperienceLab market plan to elevate the brand externally
  • Identify speaking roles at market events to deliver ExpLab key messages
  • Develop the ExperienceLab strategy for the ME aligned to the Divisional strategy with EL as a service across all sectors

Specific requirements

  • Experienced people manager
  • Evidence of successful business development
  • Extensive experience of working with external clients, ideally in a consultancy role.
  • Strong UX Design & Research experience and a broad design skillset covering user research, user experience design, and/or service design.
  • Extensive experience of conducting research both in the field and in the lab
  • Experience in guiding people to deliver large, complex and high value client projects. Delivering these to quality, time and budget
