Embedded C / Electronics Engineer Job in Lichfield, England

Embedded C / Electronics Engineer – Lichfield - Fantastic opportunity to for a leading business with 30 years experience and a global presence. My client requires an Embedded C / Electronics Engineer to join the R&D team to work on new and existing systems, firmware and a variety of products. 

My client offers complete solutions from design, manufacture and installation and you will apply your experience to full life cycle development of new products, following practises from requirement gathering to design, documentation, version control, development and test and validation 

Skills: You should have an understanding of Embedded C, ideally 3-5 years with experience gained experience coding in Embedded Micro controllers and micro-controller based circuits. Knowledge of Source Control tools would also be desirable. If you have knowledge of client and server side web development (HTML, CSS, Node.js etc) this would be useful. 

Responsibilities: You will be producing electronic controls and firmware as part of a team working on end-to-end development. My client works with a multitude of industries writing software for hardware / firmware and you will interact with team members to create new or amend existing applications working with Embedded code throughout.
