Responsibilities
  • Marketing
    • Act as day-to-day contact for online advertising investment
    • Coordinate calendar of advertising deliverables and ensure that Burford fully leverages the opportunity while also monitoring vendors to check performance and ROI
    • Coordinate media planning with manager to confirm campaigns, create and update copy, approve creative and push campaigns live
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure that campaigns meet clients’ expectations
    • Recommend and implement digital marketing procedures and best practices
    • Develop expert knowledge in digital advertising platforms which support digital display, paid search and paid social
    • Create reports to monitor campaign performance and feedback results, analyze the outcomes of campaigns to recommend on-going and future optimizations
  • Internal communications
    • Write and deliver daily company briefing
    • Coordinate calendar of internal staff communications efforts
    • Ghost write internal staff communications as needed
    • Track competitive activity and share internally
  • External communications
    • Ghost write articles for Burford blog and other thought leadership vehicles
    • Coordinate calendar of Burford blog posts, working with internal and external authors to ensure a steady stream of high-quality content
    • Attend all PR meetings, providing administrative and communications support to ensure collaboration across global partners and to “connect the dots” with thought leadership and PR efforts
Requirements
  • Excellent writing skills and experience with business-to-business writing: application must include writing sample(s)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and digital advertising platforms is a plus; strong interest in digital marketing is essential
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • College degree
  • Attention to detail
  • Driven to succeed, comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, ambitious team player
  • Curiosity and a willingness to develop and continue learning
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
