Business Operations Coordinator Job in Perth Australia

Reporting to and working closely with the School Business Manager, this is a new position which will be responsible for the day to day operational requirements of the Curtin Law School's City Campus in the Perth CBD. This includes coordinating and responding to the administrative requirements of the John Curtin Law Clinic (an integrated law practice learning environment and the Practical Legal Training (PLT) course), supporting both the Director of Professional Programs (DPP) and the Clinic's Principal Lawyer on a daily basis.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Manage client appointment processes for the Curtin Law Clinic, and be the first point of contact for all new clinic matters and requests for assistance;
  • Provide administration support for the PLT program;
  • Provide guidance to other Curtin Law School administrative staff located at the city campus, in the absence of the School Business Manager.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL HAVE:
  • A degree with relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully coordinating the administrative and operational requirements of a business unit; and
  • Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
