A large manufacturer of speciality agricultural dairy equipment
Remit :
- To manage a team of 8 Sales Executives responsible for delivering sales of £40-50 million in the UK and Ireland
- To ensure delivery of top line revenue and bottom line margin
- To build and develop the agent / distributor network throughout the UK and Ireland
- To work with Marketing to ensure that all marketing material is fit for purpose
- To mentor and develop the sales team
- To manage attendance at all major trade shows and exhibitions
- To lead on major contract bids and tenders
Person Specification :
- Proven experience of working in a senior sales role servicing the agricultural sector is essential
- Experience of capital sales into the agricultural sector is preferred (tractors, yellow goods, process machinery, specialist vehicles, dairy equipment)
- Experience of sales contracts from £50-250,000 for capital equipment
- Any experience of corporate finance schemes is beneficial
- Experience of medium – long sales cycles for capital equipment
- Aftermarket / spares & repair experience would be useful
- Experience of dealing with end user customers, dealerships, agents,
- First class interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities
- Excellent commercial ability
- A natural leader and mentor
- Able to travel extensively throughout the whole of the UK and Ireland
- Full UK driving licence and passport
