Project Support Administrator Job in Newark-on-Trent Nottinghamshire United Kingdom

THE JOB
  • Collect, collate, scan, electronically file in accordance with company systems all contractual documentation received into the company in respect of projects under the control of your business stream.  Received via email, post, documents from site, and created by colleagues.
  • Input data received from site into various spreadsheet formats as directed by the business stream operational team and in accordance with company systems.
  • Create purchase orders for the business stream operation team.
  • Deal directly with suppliers, supplier queries, deliveries to site, set up of suppliers
  • Deal directly with site crews and assist with problem solving
  • Provide full support over a range administrative tasks in collaboration with your business stream colleagues
  • Create RAMS and Work Package documents in accordance with company templates for each project – ensure delivery of these to the correct people for each project
  • Be the main record keeper for projects under the control of the business stream
  • Provide cover for administrator of other business streams and occasionally on Reception

Qualifications and Experience and the person skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills with a good knowledge of all MS Office packages and the use of SharePoint
  • An aptitude for accurate and logical thinking, problem solving
  • Able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
  • Able to thrive in a small close-knit team
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Able to work independently, be self-motivated, reliable and responsible.
  • Knowledge / experience in construction would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills.
  • Likely to have worked in the administrative, document handling environment
  • Present a smart appearance and a professional approach
 THE BENEFITS
  • Salary range £18,000 - £20,000 pa, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
  • Hours are 40/week – 08:00 – 17:00 with one hour for lunch
  • Holidays – 26 days some of which must be taken at Christmas whilst company is in shutdown plus Bank Holidays
  • Company personal pension, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Salary Protection – all in accordance with the company benefits package arrangements
