Job Description
- To support the evaluation of client needs and the execution of the due diligence process for the development of suitable to ECM/DCM solutions and handle the preparation of all the required activities and documentation for the completion of the relevant transactions.
- Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerECM/DCM deal execution.
- Supports the analysis of client requests and the preparation of pitch books for the presentation to clients of how the ECM/DCM can respond to their needs.
- Participates in the development of accurate and tailor-made advice and solutions to clients for raising capital according to their needs and financial capabilities.
- Proceeds to the analysis of clients’ financial statements and business plans, as well as industry status and market trends and provides relevant reports and information to support the accurate completion of the due diligence process.
- Develops and upon approval applies financial models for the projection and evaluation of client business risks and opportunities.
- Participates in the development of analytical reports that include the presentation of risks, opportunities and financial indicators, in order to assist clients to attract potential investors and enable investors to make valid investment decisions.
- Assist the preparation of business plans, prospectus, transactions’ memorandum etc., for distribution to the potential investors.
- Proceed to the accurate preparation and submission of all the required documentation, e.g. TAR, from any regulatory authority and the Bank for the initiation and completion of the transactions.
- Develops all the necessary material (e.g. prospectus) for informing potential investors regarding the details and technical characteristics of the ECM / DCM solutions developed for clients.
- Handles the logistics for the invitation of potential investors to promotion activities regarding the ECM / DCM services provided to clients, while facilitates their accurate execution.
- Support the development of marketing material for the CIB, e.g. development of brochures, for presenting the CIB services to clients.
- Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Co. to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or Economics.
- Postgraduate degree at any relevant discipline is preferable.
- CFA qualification is highly regarded.
- CME-1.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis/investment banking.
- Co. reserve the right to accept less qualifications and requirements.
- English and Arabic: Advanced.
- Very good knowledge in accounting, financial analysis, risk analysis risk analysis and mitigation, financial modelling and cash flow analysis.
- Familiarity knowledge of Islamic Finance (for DCM).
- Hands-on experience in developing and managing ECM/DCM services processes and requirements.
- Good knowledge of the current legislation and CMA regulations.
