The Clinic Operations Manager is a new position that will manage Housecall’s in-person and virtual primary care services and has responsibility for the management of all facility personnel, including physicians, Registered Nurses, and registration/front desk staff. The individual will provide administrative and clinical operations leadership and will support the clinical mission and direction of the healthtech startup including administration, clinic operations, planning, directing, financial performance, performance improvement, human resource management, evaluation of care, registration and other service initiatives. The Clinic Operations Manager will assist their team with coordinating many day-to-day health care duties with improving workflow efficiency and is expected to cultivate a clinic culture that is responsive to patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 3 years of health care operations supervisor/management experience
- Experience in managing a healthcare facility or clinic or a network of facilities in the UAE
- Strong clinic/center patient care management skills. Practice management knowledge in scheduling, customer-service methods, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, and/or information technology
- Broad knowledge of patient population served and the requirements for the delivery of services
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare information technology and patient care workflows and processes
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, as well as related legislative, accreditation, licensing, and compliance environments
- Knowledge of current and emerging best practices and technologies in the clinic/center healthcare industry
- Specialized knowledge in the creation and implementation of patient-centered care plans
- Understanding of Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, Ministry of Health, or Dubai Health Authority regulations
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Health Information and Cyber Security requirements
- Demonstrated financial acumen and budgeting experience
- Expertise in MS Excel, Word and similar computer applications
- Strong leadership, fiscal, and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management, and staff from all disciplines. Ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented climate of teamwork, collaboration, and consistent achievement of objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills to create and maintain a climate for effective communication and collaborative decision making
- Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and delegate work functions efficiently
- Ability to supervise and motivate clinic staff to perform their duties efficiently
- High emotional intelligence as evidenced by ability to evaluate/perceive a situation from multiple lenses and understand various perspectives in coming to problem resolution
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate work teams, ability to analyze complex situations and communicate key findings
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Registered Nurse and/or licensure in relevant clinical specialty
- Telemedicine experience in managed care setting
- Management experience at primary care facility
