    Engineer, Instrumentation & Control required in Avila Beach, United States

    This is an ESC represented exempt classification currently subject to collective bargaining.
    The requested position will perform the Program Engineering function for the Setpoint and
    Performance Monitoring Equipment (PME) programs, in accordance with the Program Engineering

    procedure TS5.DC1, and the Component Engineering procedure TS5.DC4. In addition, this individual will oversee the Drift Monitoring programs, the Electrolytic Capacitor program and the new Circuit Card Reliability program in addition to providing key support of the Eagle-21 Upgrade project and the associated TSTF-493 implementation project. This is an important function within
    Engineering requiring unique skills to oversee the performance and reliability of these key plant
    I&C programs. This function is critical to ensure oversight/management of resources to support both the reliability of the equipment and long term performance goals.

    To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

    Qualifications
    Minimum:
    - A minimum of 3 years of I&C or electrical experience at a power plant or in an industrial environment.

    Engineer Rotation Development Program - Gas Ops required in SAN FRANCISCO, CA, United States

    The Engineering Rotation Development Program, Gas Operations, is a 12-18 month rotation program that provides engineers an opportunity to gain meaningful engineering experience in up to three departments within Gas Operations focused on improving PG&E's large network of gas transmission and distribution pipelines.

    Engineers will have the option to apply for associate level engineering positions after the second rotation or to complete a third rotation to gain experience in an additional department.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Qualified candidates will be receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical,
    Chemical or equivalent Engineering, May 2013 - June 2015

    • Must have a valid driver's license or obtain one at least 30 days prior to start date.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Completed coursework in: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and other high-pressure pipeline related courses

    • Strong communications, initiative, and teamwork
