Title: ERP Integration Specialist

Job description:

You will be part of a team that implements an interface between an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

- As an ERP integration specialist, your role will be to architect and build a bidirectional interface between the corporate ERP system and LIMS.

- Successful candidates will be self-motivated and driven to exceed customer satisfaction standards. They will also possess a strong, professional communication skills and good team player skills to support regular interactions with the business team.

- Create and modify data mapping for system interfacing based on the functional specifications and operational needs.

- Ability to understand user and system requirements and effectively translate them into a working system interface

- Work with other application developers during development and testing phases of the interface

- Create technical and end user documentation

Technical Skills:

- Experience in setting up a real time / near real time interfacing with an ERP system is required, Interfacing a JD Edwards system with a other enterprise systems is a plus

- Experience in writing/debugging Oracle PL/SQL code for Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions & Triggers is required 

- Strong knowledge in using Oracle built-in packages, Cursor management, Exception handling etc.

- Design and develop ETL Applications using Oracle 11g, knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) will be preferred

- Design and develop ETL Packages, Interfaces, Scenarios, Load Plans and PL/SQL packages for system integration

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal/communication skills

- Solid analytical, problem solving, and trouble-shooting skills

Education & Professional Qualification
Degree(s)/Major(s): Essential: Bachelor’s degree (business administration or international relations/development preferred). Desirable: Post-graduate degree (business administration or international relations/development preferred).
Certification(s): Formal Security or Risk Management. Crisis or Emergency Management & Project management will be preferred.

  • More than 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • Held a senior regional or company-wide security position within a Pakistani or foreign-owned international company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead/Administer the security function across Company’s operations.
  • Provide security advice and assistance to the top management in order to facilitate continuity of business operations.
  • Monitor the security environment and update strategic and operational security assessments as necessary.
  • Develop and implement best practice security management initiatives.
  • Manage, communicate and resolve security incidents.
  • Manage the National & Regional security, HSE, Network & Information Security teams.
  • Coordinate the national quality assurance (QA) program for the security function.
  • Educate employees about the required security behaviours.
  • Liaison with the Company Group’s security function (Oslo) and Asia Regional Security.

  • Mentor, manage and train the Security Department employees.
  • Develop and manage Company’s IT Security and Fraud Prevention/Investigation staff.
  • Maintain and encourage a customer focus environment (internal and external) within the Security Department.

  • Effectively and efficiently manage the security budget including the timely forecasting of increases/decreases in expenditure.
