Summary of Position

· The role of the Regional Applications Manager, ASEAN is to provide technical support for the Commercial and Business groups, and is a technology expert in product and application areas.
· The individual helps resolve product and application issues, supports customer trials, provides technical feedback to R&T, and represents Company in the business segment.
· The individual should be well versed in the technology and its application, provide written reports on the various technology applications, provide training to both internal resources as well as customer personnel, and handle other duties as required. This role also includes supervisory responsibility of a team of Field Application Engineers / Technicians.

Job Responsibilities/Activities

· Provides technical and “engineering” support to the Commercial/Business groups to meet customer goals and expectations, assists with field trials of new development activity, resolves product and application issues, and regularly reports information related with customer support activity. Communicates information internally to all business areas, and to customers.
· Organizes and provides timely technical support of process initiatives, customer visit reports, as well as monthly reports on projects and activities.
· Assists in maintaining Product Portfolio’s, assists with the collection of customer data and competitive information, and is a technical resource for customers. Helps achieve and maintain OEM certifications
· Contributes to R&T development and innovation activities, timely completion of project assignments, writing of Research Reports, and resolution of manufacturing issues.
· Trains customer personnel, as well as internal Company personnel, in the use and maintenance of application equipment and field test methodology.
· Lead the Field Application Engineer in the country / region. Responsible in hiring, training, developing, and evaluating technical service engineers / technicians.
· Continuously learns the function of product components, as well as application equipment, and represents Company at Technical Meetings.
· Position requires travel to customer sites for appropriate technical support, as well as global Company sites.
· Technical resource for business and laboratory areas. Individual should be very familiar with the applications, requirements, and certifications of the product technologies, as well as customer equipment.

Candidate Requirement

· Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering would be preferred. In the absence of a Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in another discipline, a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in product application and technology. Product development experience would be an asset.
· Comfortable in industrial settings, and can communicate with all levels of customer personnel.
· Shows initiative in problem solving and takes a leadership role in the process.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Intimate knowledge of customer applications, aid in design and formulation of new product technology.
· Has excellent interpersonal skills and works well within R&T, cross-functional teams, and Global/Regional teams

Associate Director, Trade Solutions Asia, Institutional Banking and Markets Job in Singapore

The Associate Director, Trade Solutions Asia is accountable for the day to day management of the existing client portfolio of both corporate and financial institutions clients and specialist processing functions and their relevant teams.
This will include all in location processing environments which may include Exports, Imports, Finance Products and Operations as well as cross border team management across Singapore Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Monthly/ bimonthly international travel will be required to perform this role. 
Your responsibilities:
This is a key leadership role that will manage and supervise all aspects of the Middle Office functions including signing off on all daily work when required.  In addition to direct reports in Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong, you will have responsibility of managing indirect reports in these locations and Beijing. The Trade Solutions team (TS) handles document checking, validations, bookings, confirmations etc. in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Defend and grow existing customer revenue through superior client service and intimate knowledge of the customer businesses and supply chains
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the TS team activities and processes in Asia.  This includes ensuring that TS Teams in Asia comply in all respects with Global  Product, SOPs and Compliance and Operational frameworks
  • Ensure SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are updated in collaboration with Product Management to reflect the best controls and risk mitigation practices. 
  • Establish fully tested Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for all offshore and onshore teams in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Establish and manage KRIs:  Staff Turnover, Operational Losses (Value), Near Misses (Value), High Risk Audit Items, Below Standard Audits, Number of Payment Errors (Value), Customer Complaints, Systems Downtime

The APR Software Solutions Sales Manager is responsible for driving our software solutions sales strategy across the region, working with the Sales teams in each geography to ensure they have the knowledge, resources and support required to drive solutions growth.
  • Develop the software solutions sales strategy for the region and ensure a shared understanding of this strategy across all clusters and sales teams
  • Establish go to market strategy and ambitious sales targets in each cluster, in collaboration with Cluster Sales Leaders
  • Engage and develop relationships with Partners, end users and System integrators
  • Lead and develop an effective pre-sales support team ensuring that they are fully equipped to enable the sales process in each cluster
  • Work closely with Marketing, WW category team etc to ensure the sales teams are equipped with the appropriate technical support information, product training, sales tools, Marketing campaigns / materials to enable successful software solutions sales growth across the region

  • Educated to BA or BSc degree level or equivalent preferred
  • Highly Motivated and ambitious, with a "roll-up-the-sleeves" and "get-the-job-done" attitude
  • Minimum10 years’ proven experience in direct lead and manage sales team (key account and channel manager) in the B2B market.
  • Able to engage ISV's and SI's as part of our SW ecosystem.
  • Ideally, will have “sell through” and “sell to” experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in the ECM/Capture market is highly desirable
  • Ability to forge strong relationships at all levels and across different countries/cultures
  • Proven sales experience across Asia Pacific Region.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • A “self starter”, with excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel as required within the APR region
  • Proven experience in leading teams, with experience in managing across different cultures and languages. Fluently in Chinese and Mandarin language.
