Head of Operations Job in Amman Jordan

Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for managing the company’s activities and day-to-day operations by driving sales and ensuring the achievement of strategic goals and objectives
  • In addition to acting as the formal Representative of the company,  the person in this position is responsible for overseeing the company’s Human Resources and Finance departments, promoting the company’s products and services and securing funding and revenue sources
  • Oversee design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs and services at the company 
  • Oversee the entire lending process, including the initial application and review, underwriting, approval or denial of the request and the disbursal of the loan
  • Ensure the maintenance of a healthy loan portfolio with low delinquency level
  • Promote the company’s products and services through the development of written articles and through personal appearances at press and other media conferences as well as promoting the company to local, regional, national and international constituencies
  • Drive sales through the elaboration of effective product innovation techniques and customer service activities
  • Promote and develop the company’s services and drive sales through personal connections and networking
  • Build a network of point-of-sales throughout Jordan
  • Develop competitive and attractive products in the market based on the consumer trends
  • Monitor competition and suggest alternatives to respond to competitive business initiatives
  • Develop yearly budget and manage the company’s resources in concordance with budgetary constraints and develop financial plans, review activity reports and financial statements
  • Ensure the execution of strategic goals and objectives of the organization
  • Identify and secure revenue sources, establishes strategies to approach funders, submits proposals and manage administration of fundraising records and documentation
  • Effectively monitor management of the company’s human resources and evaluates performance of Executives according to established personnel policies and procedures
  • Monitor the establishment and implementation of the company’s various processes and procedures as well as provides the necessary approvals
  • Act as the formal representative of the company at legislative sessions, and committee meetings
  • Present reports to the Management Committee on a regular basis and abide by the policies, procedures and decisions set by the Committee
  • Extensive experience in Credit Management (Preferably in retail consumer credit)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking / finance industries
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related fields

Landscape Architect Job in Amman, Jordan

The Role

To take full responsibility for client landscape design projects including the full design process, preparation of all required design stages, their high standard of design and graphic presentation and their submittal and reviews according to required deadlines.
To perform and manage advanced, complex assignments using conventional or innovative techniques for soft and hard landscape architectural works.
To carry out the full design process for public realm sites including parks, public gardens and streetscapes, landmarks, palaces and restricted sites.
To demonstrate excellent people management skills that show highly tuned ability to quickly evaluate project requirements, staff resources and estimated manhours to achieve the necessary end-product and to carry out accordingly.
To be able to effectively maximise and utilise the talents of individual design team members to achieving required deadlines and to encourage team commitment to constantly raising the bar of high standards in design and graphic presentation.
To possess and demonstrate thorough knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of landscape architecture, including knowledge of local hardscape materials, plant materials and planting design integrating ecological sustainability as well as comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and methodologies.
To fully manage the preparation of design and tender documents including specifications, bills of quantities and cost estimates. To be fully accountable for the application of the design process and resultant design documents into working drawings and their ease of installation, workability and functionality as well as long-term durability and sustainability at site.
To possess and demonstrate a positive work ethic, professional enthusiasm and ambition, a warm friendly personality and strong leadership skills.


Minimum Experience:

10 years of related work experience with preferably comparable position in the GCC/Middle East/Levant for min.
BA/MA in Landscape/Architecture or similar discipline or 3 years of any recognized equivalent combination of professional landscape training and experience.
Previous full design experience on public realm, waterfronts, parks, streetscapes and mixed use projects is essential.
Ability to manage full design process (and speciality suppliers /designers /consultants) with strong experience/grasp of landscape architectural design and project management process.

Service Technician Job in Jordan

The Service department is responsible for the normal functioning of the customers' wind farms, ensuring the highest performance level for each turbine life cycle, aiming to secure long-term cooperation with our customers 
The objective of the Service Technician role is to make operational, ready to operate and maintain the wind turbines under contract to the employer, so that they operate efficiently and effectively to make a maximum contribution to the operating result, with maximum customer satisfaction. 

  • Preparation 
- Checking the presence, completeness and good operation of the necessary safety gear and tools, along with the valid inspection certificates in accordance with current guidelines 
- Checking the presence and completeness of the necessary materials 
- Reporting to the customer after receiving a work assignment via the company system or reporting failures by telephone 
  • Executive duties 
- Doing (preventive) maintenance, periodically checking and testing the operation of the wind turbines (or components), in accordance with current rules or work instructions 
- Tracing and, where possible, repairing failures 
- Assembling components and main components according to current rules or work instructions, if necessary making use of internal or external cranes. 
- Cooperating on workplace inspections at worksites 
- Doing various electrical works (e.g. electrical connections, failure analysis and maintenance) 
- Doing various mechanical works (e.g. assembly and maintenance of mechanical parts) 
- Submitting requests to the planner of materials & services for specialists, after consultation with the foreman in your region, and ensuring that any allocated staff comply with the prescribed procedures, work instructions and rules relating to quality, working conditions, safety, the environment and engineering 
- Offering on-site support with specialist projects and offering support to suppliers 
- Submitting requests to the planner of materials & services in your own region for tools and components not present but necessary 
  • Administrative duties 
- Compiling service reports including keeping a record of the materials used per turbine 
- Recording failures (keeping a historical record) and down times 
- Doing various administrative work, including keeping a logbook, an hourly record and a record of mileage 
  • Qualifications 
High School certificate level 
Minimum of three years' experience as a Service Technician 
Driving license B 
Good English is mandatory 

Comfortable working at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings
