We currently are seeking a highly motivated Performance Improvement Manager – Strategy to support client engagement teams within EY’s insurance team.
In this role, you'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. With guidance from partners, directors and senior managers, you'll identify potential business opportunities for EY. By drawing on your knowledge and experience, you'll provide innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs and contribute to thought leadership.
You'll actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives. In line with EY's commitment to quality, you'll consistently drive projects to completion and confirm that work is of a high quality. Your role in leading teams - or parts of teams - on engagements will depend on the size of engagement. When working on engagements, you'll report to higher levels of management, who will expect you to anticipate and identify risks, and escalate any issues as appropriate.
As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture, coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

EY is seeking experienced Managers to join the Insurance Team within the Strategy service line. We have positions open across Dubai and Riyadh.
Client responsibilities
► Participate in Strategy engagements, primarily within the insurance sector, but potentially within the wider financial services practice.
► Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
► Participate in business development initiatives
► Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other service lines across the organization
People responsibilities
► Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff
► Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
► Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals
► Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff
► Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Technical skills requirements
You'll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas, and be developing deep experience and technical competence in at least one:
► Significant expertise in strategy development and implementation within the insurance sector
► Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver insightful and practical solutions
► Ability to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders, in order to gain support for major changes and key decisions
► Experience of the full strategy life cycle from concept through to implementation
Additional requirements
► Experience of working within the insurance sector
► Demonstrated track record with a blue chip consulting organization is desirable, but not essential
► Demonstrated track record of structuring and managing projects or programs of work, exceeding client expectations whilst managing project risks or issues
► Proficiency in Arabic language is desirable, but not essential
► 5-7 years of the above related work experience
► Degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance or a related field; MBA or MS degree preferred
