We are seeking a Human Resources Manager. This position reports into the Human Resources Senior Director for Germany based in Munich. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and consultation to business leaders and functional management teams to increase overall organizational capabilities and performance of the still to be combined Oracle entities in Germany.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translating the overall Global /EMEA Human Resources strategy & priorities into a range of activities and programs (Human Resources business plan) in Germany and ensure their implementation.
- Helping to drive this Human Resources plan, especially as it relates to Labour/Industrial Relations, for the country and its various work locations.
- Be one of the lead advisors to the Senior HR Director and Country leadership team on issues like organization development & structure in Germany, employee relations, management leadership, etc.
- Drive the following HR activities with your team and in collaboration with the HR competence centers: Staffing, management and professional development, employee satisfaction, compensation and benefits projects, HR analytics and systems, cooperation with HR shared services centers and merger & acquisition.
- Ensure that Oracle is compliant with local legislation.
- Providing direction, leadership and motivation for your team in Germany
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Broad HR experience, in all Human Resources domains.
- Seasoned experience in working with workers councils in Germany (both local and central).
- Solid working knowledge of relevant legislation and employment law.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience of working with a Senior Management Team to increase effectiveness
- Experience in a growth environment taking business to next level of development whilst addressing growth and retention issues.
- Experience in working with a large, complex multinational environment. Understand how matrix management operates. Is able to balance both Corporate as well as local (sometimes legal) requirement in a political savvy way.
- Demonstrated results in successful development and implementation of HR programs.
- Ability to listen and understand when it comes to senior management and various Employees representative bodies. Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for the development, implementation, administration and budgeting of global HR strategic company initiatives in one or more of the following areas: employment, compensation, benefits, HR operations, employee relations, diversity, immigration and organizational development Manages a professional staff.Play an important role in leading the HR group as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Develop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., benefit programs, manpower planning, salary/bonus/stock review, organizational change, performance management, and training assessment). Advise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures. Manage employee relations issues and conduct investigations in support of corporate ethics and values. Ensures staffing needs are met in accordance with governmental specifications.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Ability to travel. Demonstrated leadership skills. BA/BS degree and experience in an HR specialty a plus.
