What you will be doing in this position:
- This is an inside sales role where you will sell via phone & social media via email, both direct, indirect via Partners, with help from your Field counterparts and by face 2 face meetings with customers as occasional travel is part of this role.
- You will run the business like an entrepreneur in a larger organization…..it’s your shop, we will provide the tools & support, you make it happen!
- You are expected to hunt for new business in a selected set of Top Accounts where you are fully responsible from start to end, meaning from the Demand Generation aspect to Closing & Booking the deal. You can demonstrate what you are really capable of!
- Expand market share with existing Top Accounts, helping them to refresh & upgrade & expand their current Storage infrastructure, preparing them to support the exponential data growth in their Data centre(s) or in the Cloud.
- Engage with your Business Partners to setup Territory Sales Plans, Demand Generation activities to ensure you grow your run rate business.
- Engage with your colleagues who sell Big Data, BI Analytics, Database and Applications, to ensure you synchronize selling opportunities, brain storm on new ways to sell, to create joint selling campaigns and much more.
- Become an advisor for your customers, prospects, colleagues and Partners how to simplify their current and future Cloud & Big Data Storage + Archiving requirements by analyzing their Business needs and Financial goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
What are we looking for?
- Fluency in English is essential.
- 2 + years of B2B IT sales experience.
- Acquisition sales mentality will be needed to be successful in the role.
- Self starter, entrepreneur, strong grounding of professional selling to large organizations.
- Self motivated to continuously expand personal & professional knowledge.
- Professional with good organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication and persuasive skills.
- Third level education or equivalent experience.
