AREVA Federal Services LLC, a subsidiary of AREVA, is seeking a Senior Project Contracts Manager. 

Under broad supervision, supports/leads contract administration management and negotiations relating to MOX Services and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracts. Support all contractual requirements, company goals and objectives, including maximizing revenue, cash flow and margin over the life of the project. Manages relationships with customers and consortium partners, negotiates scope of supply, terms and conditions, planning, scheduling and oversight of contract administration activities. 

The position will be responsible for the following: 
  • Provides support and/or leadership for EPC-related contract negotiations and contract administration for MOX Services.
  • Utilizes teambuilding and relationship skills to ensure satisfaction of assigned customers and consortium partners.
  • Interface with Legal, Project Controls, Finance, EPC contractors, and other functional departments as needed on matters relating to changes within the prime contract to ensure plans and schedules are within corporate risk guidelines.
  • Provide subject matter expert knowledge of the prime contract requirements, and communicates with proper channels to ensure contracts are developed within corporate guidelines & objectives.
  • Provide contract advice and recommendations to management/technical personnel regarding contract administration, risk avoidance, change order management and cost or pricing data.
  • Maintains accurate records and may be required to participate in internal and external audits.
  • Develop contract language and cost/pricing data for government proposals, contracts, change orders and REA's.
  • Develop and maintain Prime Contract change order logs for tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate Prime Contract change order/claims management process including timely identification, documentation, notifications, preparation, and closure of items.
  • Support the Project Lead negotiator and other project team members in client negotiations.
  • Perform position duties and assignments independently in a diverse and ever-changing work environment.
Qualifications:

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance or similar field; or comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus 15 years of professional experience including a minimum of 10 years contract administration experience with Government Prime Contracts.
  • Extensive experience in cultivating and managing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent experience with Prime Contract REA's, change orders, claims, dispute resolution and legal interface.
  • In-depth experience with prime contract development, negotiations and administration.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and work in spreadsheets as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management.
The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position. 
  • Good understanding of EVMS systems and integrated project schedules as they relate to government contracts.
  • Familiarity with cost reimbursable prime contracts for construction of Government capital projects.
  • Advance training in contract law and contract changes on Government contracts.
  • MBA and/or NCMA Certification.
