Administration and Marketing Officer Job in Hervey Bay & Fraser Coast Australia

jobs-n-jobs.com is looking for a highly organised individual who will take ownership of the administrative functions of our board with a focus on support the Marketing and Community Engagement committee. This position will require someone with prior experience in an administrative role and is confident to perform these tasks autonomously. Experience working in a board environment would be beneficial.
The marketing aspects of the role will require excellent communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders along with excellent time management abilities. You will be expected to work under the direction of the board and committee as well as identifying opportunities yourself.
The role offers flexible working hours on a part-time basis (20 - 25 hours per month) and may be extended or expanded in the future. The successful candidate will be expected to work outside of normal business hours to attend meets and events with sufficient notice provided. Work location is open to negotiation.

The following duties are indicative of the role expectations:
  • Facebook and other social media activities
  • Assist board and committees as required with administrative tasks
  • Prepare agendas and minutes, as well as distribute tasks/appointments to Directors
  • Create and distribute marketing materials including media releases, signage, newsletters etc
  • Attend board and committee meetings
  • Manage community relationships e.g. sponsorship recipients, shareholder newsletters etc
  • Assist in the management of events
