Responsibilities:
- Individual will be expected to provide strong support on end to end execution of transactions including customer due diligence and credit analysis across a range of industries.
- Review the transaction proposal from business department and conduct risk analysis by doing extensive research on macroeconomy, industry, and company operational and financial condition etc.
- Conclude the review comments and present the review comments to the credit risk committee or the authorized person.
- Ongoing monitoring and summary of the information from the third party including research firm and international credit rating company.
- Assist the Head of Credit Risk identifying the risk tolerance regarding country, industry and credit rating. Update the credit manual accordingly.
- Interact closely with stakeholders including bankers, traders, credit executives, and external & internal legal teams.
Skills/ Experience Required:
- Experience – Minimum 5 years + experience in credit analysis or credit approval
- Education – Minimum bachelor degree in Business Management / Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Ability to provide strong support on background check, due diligence for complex transactions, with excellent risk judgment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements as they apply to financial institutions
- Possesses strong quantitative ability in analyzing and interpreting financial statements, draws well-thought-out conclusions from extensive analysis
- Ability to work under tight timelines and multi-task
- Flexible and problem-solving mindset
- Active listener and strong team player
- Organized, motivated, and proactive
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - fluency in English is essential, Mandarin would be preferred
