JUNIOR IT SYSTEMS SUPPORT ANALYST Job in Central London United Kingdom

The role of an IT support analyst within the Whistles IT department is a role which requires versatility and flexibility. You will be working with a team which help support the maintenance and delivery of technical projects in line with business requirements and strategic plans. The role will require the IT support analyst to perform daily maintenance and support task to meet the daily IT demands of the business users and stores. The role will also play an integral part on working with current projects, working on specific tasks within the project from development to delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head office user base with issues relating to various business systems; ranging from Windows Office issues to specific business application used within the organisation. You will be required to resolve these support issues utilising the resources available.
  • Provide advice and assistance on queries raised by the business users.
  • Assist and support the store base with queries regarding the store till application.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining hardware within the business. Support Printer and IT peripherals used.
  • Support and maintain multiple server platforms used within Whistles environment, as well has network equipment. These servers can be physically based at Whistles as well as remote off site support.
  • Logging issues with Third Party vendors relating to head office and store systems
  • Integral to maintaining the relationship with third party vendors.
  • Play an integral part in facilitating the delivery of projects within the organisation which will require involvement with various different departments.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with superb telephone manner.
  • Good understanding of General IT
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Good customer service experience
