Service Designer / Interaction Designer Job in Sydney Australia

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in the ICT Procurement Transformation program
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the new platform
  • Ensure service and interaction designs are based on evidence of user needs in line with project goals and delivery cycles
  • Prototyping and Agile Delivery
  • Work openly and collaboratively with policy, technology and content team members.
 Key Requirements:
  • Government experience preferable
  • Service Designer (primary skillset)/Interaction Designer (secondary skillset)
  • Design-related degree, or relevant industry experience
  • Ability to create wireframes, paper and clickable prototypes
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team using an agile and iterative approach to solve problems
  • Knowledge of how to remove complexity from services
  • Clear and engaging presentation skills
  • Experience with visual design elements for multiple devices (responsive design)
  • Experience with visual design concepts (mood boards, sketches)
  • Ability to collaborate on designs with a developer
  • Ability to validate concepts and working software through testing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
