The Role Our client is looking for a HV Protection Engineer for maintenance of protection relays. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of how to test a wide range of Protection relays and a good background of HV and LV switchgear. The candidate should have knowledge of basic commissioning procedures including primary and pressure testing. Their main job will entail carrying out secondary injection to test the calibration of the relays for maintenance purposes. Being able to program the relays is not a requirement but would be beneficial. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team and by themselves.
