ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Content
- Coordinate the planning and development of all content (blog, website, reports, newsletters, video, digital assets, content calendar, and more)
- Work closely with marketing & sales teams to craft distribution strategy (display, search, social, email) for all content
- Own, manage, and execute global content calendar
- Devise unique, creative ideas for new content that advance strategic objectives
- Work alongside our graphic designer to ensure all content is flawless
- Assist with everyday marketing team needs & ad hoc projects
Social Media
- Build and increase a following across all social media channels
- Manage external communications via social media and be a part of engaging two-way conversations with a distinct voice
- Schedule and monitor all posts across social platforms
- Basic knowledge of budgeting and utilizing paid support on social platforms
- Ability to analyze social data, create reports, share insights and recommendations on emerging social platforms
Copywriting
- Create a wide range of impactful, brand-appropriate content for website, case studies, emails, blog, and more, aligned with brand strategy and target audience
- Pivot between subject matter and writing for different platforms (website, social media, video)
- Demonstrate a meticulous approach to your work - organize, prioritize and hit the deadline on-time, every time
Events
- Provide logistical and administrative support in the planning and executing of events
- Manage the events calendar
- Work with marketing ops manager to tracks event attendance, registrations and feedback responses
- Provides logistical support including setup, audio visual requirements, catering, etc
- Maintains records of vendor related items and troubleshoots vendor issues
- Tracks and submits event expenses and ensures prompt payment
- Drafts and prepares event invitations and materials
- Provides on-site event management and support at day and evening events
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of marketing experience
- Demonstrated experience and a passion for social technology universe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills... And a LOVE for writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms
- Highly proficient in creating digital content including websites, social media, blogs, video, etc
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- High energy and enthusiastic team-player willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent MS Office Skills
- Adobe creative suite a plus
