The Associate Director, Trade Solutions Asia is accountable for the day to day management of the existing client portfolio of both corporate and financial institutions clients and specialist processing functions and their relevant teams.
This will include all in location processing environments which may include Exports, Imports, Finance Products and Operations as well as cross border team management across Singapore Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Monthly/ bimonthly international travel will be required to perform this role.
Your responsibilities:
This is a key leadership role that will manage and supervise all aspects of the Middle Office functions including signing off on all daily work when required. In addition to direct reports in Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong, you will have responsibility of managing indirect reports in these locations and Beijing. The Trade Solutions team (TS) handles document checking, validations, bookings, confirmations etc. in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Defend and grow existing customer revenue through superior client service and intimate knowledge of the customer businesses and supply chains
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the TS team activities and processes in Asia. This includes ensuring that TS Teams in Asia comply in all respects with Global Product, SOPs and Compliance and Operational frameworks
- Ensure SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are updated in collaboration with Product Management to reflect the best controls and risk mitigation practices.
- Establish fully tested Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for all offshore and onshore teams in collaboration with Product Management.
- Establish and manage KRIs: Staff Turnover, Operational Losses (Value), Near Misses (Value), High Risk Audit Items, Below Standard Audits, Number of Payment Errors (Value), Customer Complaints, Systems Downtime
