Head of Technology Job in Dubai United Arab Emirates

The Role
  • Establish, execute and manage the technology strategy and roadmap to enhance business processes, systems efficiency, data integrity and security and reduce costs across all infrastructures and platforms.
  • Drives the governance and enterprise technology standards and process and, business performance metrics to measure the ROI on investments.
  • Lead the planning, execution and budget control of internally and third-party managed projects related to integration, network and cyber security, technical architecture and digitization projects.
  • Develop and control the annual operating and capital expenditure budget for all technology across the group.
  • Strategic vendor and partner relationship management.
RequirementsEssential Skills & Experience Required
  • 10 – 15 years’ client facing multinational senior level IT experience with a strong background in technology process re-engineering, FMCG warehouse management and distribution, WMS implementations and enhancements, 3PL logistics and supply chain IT infrastructure with a focus on internal and client facing service delivery improvement processes.
  • Strong technical infrastructure and architecture, Cloud, security, project and release management, governance and compliance, and vendor management skills.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to manage large CAPEX budgets.
  • UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is mandatory
Candidate Profile
  • Aged between 40– 50 years and currently living in the GCC, preferably the UAE.
  • Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
